Health Help Now has been shortlisted in the Best use of social media to deliver a health campaign category at the EHI Awards 2015 – the UK’s only dedicated healthcare IT award scheme.
Our social media campaign supports the promotion of Health Help Now, a ground breaking app and website that aims to help people find the right local health services to meet their needs, especially when they are not sure what to do or who to contact.
It is aimed particularly at parents of young children, people aged 18 to 34, and working age adults with a minor injury, groups who tend to use A&E when another service might be able to help them.
The website and app has been used to help local people find advice and treatment more than 85,000 times. 73 per cent of visits via social media are new visits.
We promoted Health Help Now, which is available in Kent and Medway, East Surrey and mid Sussex, and Buckinghamshire, using social channels as these are key sources of information for our target audiences. Health Help Now has a presence across seven of the most popular social platforms; Twitter, Facebook,Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Vine and Google+.
The primary aim is to refer traffic to the Health Help Now websites and app, and to maintain the Health Help Now brand, ensuring maximum reach and increased public recognition.
